In my clinics I am fortunate enough to work with some amazing women who unfortunately do not see themselves as the truly amazing people that they actually are
Women feel judged by society due to how they look, their body size, shape, etc etc.
But that doesn’t even start to compare with how they internalise judgement and judge themselves so much more harshly.
Sadly this holds them back from having the amazing and wonderful life they deserve, would love and would make them truly happy
Happiness they truly deserve
I want to share this great article with anyone else who can relate to this…
I finally love my body the way it is. Here’s why….
And here is some body love inspiration from an amazing lady who used to be anorexic
Some favourite quotes from this article…
Society would have us believe we need to be thin to be or feel beautiful. (Wrong.)
We’re told over and over through misguided media, unrealistic standards, and false ads that we aren’t beautiful otherwise. (Wrong again.)
And my favourite quote from Megan
“Don’t be afraid of gaining weight, my love. There’s a whole life for you to gain when you stop letting those numbers (on the scales) dictate your worth.💜💙💚🌈🌞”
oh and BTW ladies, this is your new theme song! (it starts at 4 mins 50 secs, so feel free to fast forward!)
and if you wish to sing along….

yet not meek, unspeakably kind
I’m practically perfect not slightly soiled
