This role involves performing a wide range of administrative and clerical and office management tasks to support the operations of the Statesville Airport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


NOTE: Employee may be required to respond to a disaster, either natural or man-made, to serve the citizens of Statesville and meet the needs of the organization, which may result in the assignment of other duties and take precedence over duties described in this job description.   • Greets customers upon arrival at the Fixed Base Operation (FBO) and ensures their comfort while visiting.
  • Assists customers with passenger and pilot needs, including arrangements for ground transportation, catering, dishwashing, and other services
  • Receives and processes customer requests, processes fuel and FBO service invoices and manages customer receipts.
  • Maintains the cash drawer by counting, balancing, and preparing daily financial reports.
  • Handles incoming phone calls, responds to professional inquiries, and ensures that customer needs are addressed promptly.
  • Monitors aviation tracking software, FBO calendar, and air-to-ground radio communications; relays messages to the appropriate line crew.
  • Monitors security cameras and access gates; responds to requests, determines accessibility, and provides information as necessary.
  • Updates and maintains various files and records.
  • Inputs, processes and manages information within the computer systems.
  • Manages inventory levels and stocks supplies in common areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Six (6) months of customer service experience.
Other Requirements
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license, or any valid driver's license with ability to obtain a North Carolina driver's license within 60 days of establishing a permanent residence in North Carolina.

Job Related Physical Requirements

This position involves light work requiring the exertion of 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
