Available Position: Truck/Diesel Technician

Available Shifts:

- Monday-Friday afternoon shift (12pm-8pm)

- Tuesday-Friday afternoon shift, Saturdays 9am-4pm.

**Majority of vehicles you will service is on 1 ton- 15 ton trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers.
• Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other repairs.
• Remove and repair engines, transmission, and differential assemblies.
• Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs and safety inspections)
• Test/Evaluate completed work prior to release.
• Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
• Adhere to Schulz Truck and Auto standards, policies, and procedures.
• Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested or required.

Qualifications:

• A vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• Valid drivers license.
• Class 7 PA Inspection license is preferred.
• 3+ years experience working on heavy trucks, gas or diesel.
• Experience with Cummins 6.7, Ford F-59 chassis is a plus.
• Basic diagnostics skills and mechanical knowledge are required.
• Must have appropriate mechanic’s toolset.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Availability to work assigned shift.
