Overview
We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team. Under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Recruiting Manager .
Recruiter Position Description
• Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts.
• Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.).
• Develop recruitment strategy. This may include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, talent planning, etc…
• Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization.
• Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool or social engagements.
• Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
• Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment / culture.
• Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HR professionals with hiring and employment data.
• Assist in developing specialized or information and research in regards to talent development or retention.
• Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs.
• Develop relationship within the various disciplines of the organization.
• Participate in employment events, such as career fairs.
• Use sophisticated applicant tracking systems to track applicants through the selection phase through to on-boarding.
• The scope of their job encompass functions across the organization.
• The role does not end with on-boarding of employees; rather, they ensure the ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met, exceeded, and measured
Recruiter Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar 2-3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar experience.
Professional Licensure: HR Certification would be a plus.
Certification(s): None required
Previous Healthcare Recruiting experience preferred.
Recruiter Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments.
2. Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff.
3. Source applicants through online channels, such as Indeed, LinkedIn and other professional networks.
4. Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
5. Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates
6. Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews – if possible.
7. Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references.
8. Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
9. Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.
10. All other duties as assigned or needed.
Recruiter Skills and Qualifications
1. Work experience in talent acquisition or similar roles.
2. Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks.
3. Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
4. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
5. Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates.
6. A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company.
7. Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
