Property Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager in our Upper Darby, PA property. This role is responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the property including tenant relations, leasing, maintenance, compliance, budgeting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations.
  • Maintain effective property management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations and fair housing laws.

Financial Oversight

  • Prepare monthly reports on property performance, including occupancy rates, rent collection, and expenses.
  • Prepare quarterly budget reports.

Leasing and Occupancy

  • Oversee leasing operations to ensure high occupancy and tenant retention.
  • Ensure timely processing of applications and lease agreements.

Maintenance and Facility Management

  • Manage on-site maintenance staff, vendors and contractors.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and address repair needs promptly.

Quality Assurance/All Workorders

  • Oversee the unit turnover process to ensure readiness and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor and maintain the safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal of buildings and surrounding grounds
  • Manage purchasing and procurement of materials and supplies as needed

Tenant Relations

  • Handle tenant communications, disputes, and conflict resolution in a professional & timely manner
  • Manage all aspects of Landlord-Tenant matters, including but not limited to court proceedings
  • Enforce lease terms and address non-compliance issues effectively.
  • Oversee move-in/move-out procedures, inspections, and documentation.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, and evaluate on-site maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, Rent Café).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
