Pediatric Hospitalist
Position Highlights:
We are seeking two full-time qualified physicians to join the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. The primary locations of this role include the Pediatric Acute Care Center, a new hybrid model at Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital. Pediatric care will include pediatric evaluation of Level 2-5 ED pediatric patients, consult on Level 1 ED pediatric patients, attend to extended stay patients, and conduct initial evaluations of adolescent psychiatry patients. The dedicated care team includes board-certified pediatric hospitalists, pediatric emergency medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and specially trained nurses. You'll have access to pediatric subspecialists through the Chicagoland Children's Healthcare Alliance. The second location is Evanston Hospital, including Infant special care unit . Time spent at each location can vary and is be based on the physician's experience, strengths and Division needs.
What you will do:
Pediatric hospitalists hired to this position will be part of the Endeavor Health Department of Pediatrics and function as a Pediatric Hospitalist and function in a practice expansion to Northwest Community Hospital. Pediatric care will include pediatric evaluation of Level 2-5 ED pediatric patients, consult on Level 1 ED Pediatric Patients, attend Extended Stay patients, neonates, and initial evaluation of adolescent psychiatry patients.
