Job Purpose: The IT Operations Oracle Engineer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases and applications to ensure their stability and high performance. The role involves troubleshooting, implementing fixes, and providing technical assistance to end-users, while coordinating efforts between Randstad associates, Oracle teams, and managed service providers. Requirements Key Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and optimize Oracle applications to guarantee optimal performance and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning and SQL query optimization. Work alongside development teams to apply database updates and improvements. Create and update documentation related to database configurations, processes, and best practices. Ensure adherence to security policies and operational procedures. Participate in after-hours on-call rotations to support critical production incidents. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT colleagues. Assist the IT Operations Manager by documenting and publishing key Oracle-related processes and guidelines. Required Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP EBS (Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing), Oracle Fusion Cloud, and modules such as OTM, CPQ, SCM, EPM, BI, WMS, and CAT+/WMS. Experience with programming and scripting in SQL, PLSQL, and Java. Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP APIs. Functional understanding of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Experience supporting Oracle WMS and Oracle OTM cloud solutions. Skilled at troubleshooting integrations with legacy and peripheral systems. Ability to manage production incidents via ServiceNow and JIRA (Atlassian tools). Effective communication skills for collaborating with end users and technical teams. Capability to perform root cause analysis, document issues, and implement resolutions. Preferred Qualifications ~ Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly desirable.
