Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced part-time Meat Cutter to join our team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in meat cutting and food preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat products for our customers while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
• Ensure all meat products are packaged correctly and labeled accurately for display.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the meat preparation area.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of meat products.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in meat cutting or a similar role within the food industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience in food production or culinary settings is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to quality food preparation.
