Job Description: Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr Responsibilities and Duties: Lead and mentor a team of Mainframe Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and CICS developers in designing, developing, and testing mainframe applications. Manage the full software development lifecycle of mainframe projects from requirements gathering to deployment. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs. Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality of deliverables. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe applications. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions. Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations in all mainframe development activities. Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Cobol programming language. Strong knowledge of Mainframe DB2, VSAM, and JCL. Experience with Mainframe CICS in a production environment. Solid understanding of mainframe architecture and system software. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
