About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Physician Assistant for a 24-week locum tenens assignment in California, starting Sep 25, 2025. This role requires proficiency with the DaVinci Robot, specifically XI or SI systems. The successful candidate will work Thursday and Friday, completing 10-hour shifts, with the possibility of adding two additional days.

Responsibilities and Duties

• First assisting in general surgical procedures using the DaVinci Robot
• Ensuring all operations are carried out with high precision and in compliance with hospital standards
• Maintaining detailed surgical logs to document all cases and outcomes
• Collaborating effectively with the surgical team to ensure a high standard of patient care

Additional Information

• Required to have completed at least 50 DaVinci cases in the past year; case logs must be provided
• Must be licensed in California
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems is essential for seamless integration into the surgical team
