About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Appraiser Certification Program. This key leadership role is responsible for the professional licensing of appraisers and appraisal management companies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements to protect the public's health, safety, and welfare. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, experienced administrator, and effective leader, with the ability to manage staff, direct projects, and make sound management decisions. Primary responsibilities include supporting and guiding legislation and administrative rulemaking, financial management, and serving as a central point of leadership for the program. The ideal candidate will have significant work experience in program management, strategic planning, government policy, and team leadership. Knowledge of applicable laws and rules, supervisory and office procedures, continuing education principles, examination techniques, investigative methods, budgeting, and legislative processes is essential. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and deal tactfully with diverse stakeholders. The Executive Director will also be responsible for supervising office staff, coordinating meetings, and staying up-to-date on issues affecting the appraiser profession.
