Job Description Job Title: Entry-Level Event Coordinator Location: New Orleans, LA Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Event Coordinator to assist in planning, organizing, and executing events from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the event industry, work in a fast-paced environment, and develop strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Support the planning and execution of events, including meetings, conferences, trade shows, and social gatherings. Assist with vendor coordination, venue setup, catering arrangements, and event logistics. Manage event timelines, schedules, and task lists to ensure deadlines are met. Help prepare event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage. Provide on-site event support, including registration, guest assistance, and problem-solving. Track event expenses and maintain budget documentation. Collect and analyze attendee feedback to improve future events. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or related field preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
