Job Title: Senior Cloud Developer AWS Lambdas, CDK Pipelines, Python
Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Cloud Developer with expertise in AWS, Lambda functions, CDK pipelines, and Python development.
Years of Experience Needed: 6 8 years
Technical Skills:
Develop AWS Lambdas and CDK pipelines; monitor using CloudWatch and Sumo Logic
High-level proficiency in NodeJS and TypeScript is required
Experience working with multiple disparate systems
Hands-on experience in Cloud technologies (AWS preferred; Azure/Google Cloud optional)
Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and PowerShell), and SQL
Experience with streaming data and data extraction from various databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL, etc.)
Experienced in deploying and managing infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Experience with scalable data extraction tools is a plus
Exposure to Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, Redshift is a plus
Understanding of data engineering, real-time streaming/eventing, and JSON parsing
Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
Proven experience in building microservices and API architectures
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Passionate about learning and collaborating with colleagues
Strong oral and written communication skills
Business Intelligence/Analytics experience is a plus
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Airline industry experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
Develop data APIs and data delivery services to support operational and analytical applications for Delta's internal business operations, customers, and partners
Create and support data-centric products that encompass multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
Analyze technical information and produce quality software
Collaborate effectively with teammates and offer creative solutions to overcome obstacles
Work within automated testing and CI/CD processes
Act as an expert on the products built and maintained
