About the Role: The Physician Assistant ("PA") or Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner ("NP) are an integral member of Community Reach Center's Mountainland Fox Drive ("Division") Division. The PA or NP under direct supervision of an MD, provides direct, comprehensive medical evaluation, treatment planning and primary care intervention. The PA or NP will participate as a member of team providing clinical care, assessment, treatment, and support services to consumers including planning, implementation and documentation. Additionally, will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Nurse Manager. Essential Functions: * Provide services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical illness and injuries of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. * Interprets examination findings, test results, and implements treatment plans. * Prepares and reviews cases to staff with appropriate supervisor and/or collaborating physician. * Supports health promotion and prevention activities, while monitoring physical and psychosocial growth and development * Provides advice and education for consumers and parents regarding appropriate preparation for predictable developmental challenges. * Determines need for consultation and assists in medical care treatment provided at the direction of other specialists. * May instruct medical students, residents, and other trainees in procedures for diagnosis and treatment of medical illnesses and injuries. * On call weekday/weekend rotations that include holidays Qualifications: The successful candidate should be board certified or board eligible. Experience relevant to clinical setting with understanding of pediatric services in health, clinical diagnosis, and direct consumer care. * Requires a master's degree and active Colorado Physician Assistant license or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner License in Colorado * Complete accredited training commensurate with degree and license * Prescriptive authority and BLS Certificate every 2 years * Bilingual Spanish preferred Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Currently 2 locations open - one in our Broomfield location and one in our Thornton location (Mountainland Pediatrics) Pay Range: $115,000 -$125,000 annually Accepting Application until 4/6/24 So-what do you think?
