Key Responsibilities: Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections on vehicles Clean the mixer thoroughly between loads Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Assist maintenance with repairs when needed Visually inspect the consistency of concrete in the mixer Communicate effectively with coworkers using verbal communication, radios, or hand signals Document all necessary information on delivery tickets Ensure delivery tickets are signed and returned Exercise judgment regarding work site access and operations Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance Train new coworkers as required Adhere to safety policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements: Must be 21 years or older Possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) One year of experience operating tandem and/or Ready Mix trucks preferred Maintain a safe driving record Active DOT qualification Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English Ability to work well in a team environment and self-motivated Physical Requirements: Ability to climb stairs, ladders and perform various physical tasks Demonstrate normal neck range of motion Lift and maneuver objects of various dimensions and weights Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Handle high noise environments Work at heights up to 9 feet Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, or dry conditions. Exposure to dust, gravel, and diesel exhaust may occur. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, Monday through Friday, and alternate Saturdays is essential.
